2021 year has come and gone. For the El Hogar family, it has been another challenging year, but ultimately a year filled with optimism and hope.

In 2021, through the hard work and support of so many we were able to stay connected to each and every student despite the lingering impact of the pandemic. We again celebrated a joyous virtual event as Esperanza II demonstrated the transformative power of El Hogar and brought our community together to express support for our work. Most importantly, we watched with great pride as the second ever class of 12th graders graduated in December.

As we move swiftly into 2022, we are grateful for the generosity of so many who are committed to the mission and programs of El Hogar and who have allowed us to continue to provide a home, an education, and a future to more than 200 children in Honduras. We look forward with great hope to welcoming North American visitors back to our campuses later this year, and we are focused on evolving our mission and programs in order to meet the needs of all of our deserving students.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making 2021 another successful year at El Hogar and for being such an integral part of the El Hogar community.
